Optical

As Licensed Opticians, we are here to help our clients find the best glasses for their needs. Our expertise is your eyesight fitted into an optical frame fitted to you. A salesperson sells you product. A Licensed Optician pays attention foremost to your eyesight, your prescription, or non-prescription vision. With knowing how your eyesight works with a lens placed into a frame we can insure your requirements are met to your expectations.

Our entire staff is happy to help our patients get the right glasses. We are here to discuss your lifestyle, your job, and your visual needs to point you in the right direction when it comes to picking out the perfect pair of glasses. We know how important it is to find glasses that fit you comfortably while still complimenting your face.

We can also help children find the right pair of glasses. We know how rough children can be, so we want to make sure that you find glasses that will last.

Dispensing opticians also help people who struggle with other vision problems. We would be glad to discuss other visual aids to allow you to see as clearly as possible.

If you are in the market for contact lenses, don’t hesitate to come in. Our entire staff has also undergone special training to help you find the perfect contacts for you!

Eye Exams

Everyone needs regular eye exams. It’s important for adults to schedule eye exams to monitor their eye health and check for problems. Conditions that are often detected during eye exams include glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy. Early detection of these conditions allows for the widest range of treatment options and the best chance of slowing or reversing any symptoms.

All adults should have their eyes examined every two years. You may make an appointment with our Independent Doctor of Optometry. Eye exams are important for issues such as learning in the classroom, eyesight disabilities, diabetes, high blood pressure, work conditions or medications.

Your eye doctor should insure care about your health and vision wellness. Choose an independent MD or OD that you feel able to converse with comfortably.

A licensed optician in New Jersey is educated to know how to deal with your vision prescription. As an optician, their performance is about making sure your eyesight is fitted properly in the right frame. Indeed, how you look is important, it is more important that you see out of the eyeglasses that you choose to wear or were ‘sold’. Not all eyesight, prescribed or non-prescribed, not all lenses, and not all frames work together. A Licensed Optician should say ‘no that does not work for you!’ #1 is your eyesight, #2 is how you feel about your frames and how others see you with your new eyewear.
